ABOUT WARWICK
Warwick’s circuit is regarded as one of the fairest tracks in the country, and impressive victories over either the jumps or flat course are often a sign of great things to come. Racegoers here are often the first to see the potential of future champion horses and the return of established stars to the course ensures high-quality fields for races such as the Tote Classic Chase over jumps and The Listed Eternal Stakes on the flat. Racing is all year round here with 23 fixtures, 14 of which fall on weekends, bank holidays and evenings.
The racecourse is one of the oldest in the country, with racing having taken place here since the early 18th century.
FACILITIES
Warwick Racecourse can offer visitors one of the foremost hospitality and entertainment venues in racing today. Within the Grandstand you’ll find four bars, an informal dining area and a betting hall. In addition, private suites are available in the Paddock Building. The glass fronted 1707 Restaurant is situated opposite the finishing line with spectacular views of the race track. There are further food and drink outlets around the course, as well as ample car parking space.
LOCALITY
The racecourse is right by the city’s medieval castle so there’s no excuse for not taking in the sights before or after a meeting. Warwick boasts a wealth of specialist independent shops, restaurants, pubs and accommodation, and the city’s vibrant cultural scene – there are three annual festivals held here – means there’s plenty to take in before you head home.
