ABOUT HAYDOCK PARK
Lying just east of Junction 23 of the M6, between Liverpool and Manchester, Haydock Park forms part of the backbone of British racing, hosting 33 days of top quality flat and jump race days throughout the year.
The ‘Betfair Chase Festival’ is the jump season’s highlight and a feature event in the jump racing calendar, held over two days in November. Other jump highlights include the ‘Peter Marsh Chase’ in January, the ‘Grand National Trial’ in February, the ‘Swinton Hurdle’ in May and the ‘Tommy Whittle’ and ‘Last Fling Chases’ in December. Flat season highlights include the ‘Betfred Temple Stakes’ in May, ‘bet365 Lancashire Oaks’ and ‘Old Newton Cup’ in July and the ‘Betfred Sprint Cup Festival’ held over three days in early September.
In additional to year-round, first-class racing, there are three music nights offering extended entertainment with live music from top artistes after racing, fashion and style exhibitions and competitions during three summer ladies’ nights and free children’s entertainment on their popular family fun racedays, something for everyone.
FACILITIES
Haydock Park has a variety of enclosures where racegoers can enjoy the first-class action. The Premier Suite, situated above the County Enclosure in the Centenary Stand, offers relaxed and sophisticated surroundings from where you can enjoy your day’s racing. The suite includes ‘Harry’s Bistro’ dining and betting facilities and a fantastic viewing balcony directly overlooking the Winning Post. Further restaurant facilities are available in the panoramic Park Suite, situated in the Makerfield Stand with fabulous views across the racecourse.
The popular Country Enclosure, situated directly opposite the winning post, provides easy access to the Centenary Stand, Tommy Whittle Stand, Colours Restaurant and Champagne and Seafood Bar. Badge-holders have access to both seated and standing viewing areas, as well as the parade ring and winners’ enclosure.
The Tattersalls and Newton enclosures offer more casual viewing facilities along with a wide range of bars and food outlets and a children’s play area.
