A private box is the height of luxury, with catering and drinks delivered by waitresses or waitors and superb views of the course.
Most courses have their own high-class dining facilities and restaurants, some can be walk up on the day, but it is best to book a table beforehand to get the best view. Some restaurants, such as Cheltenham and Kempton Park, have excellent panoramic views of the racecourse; others are positioned in picturesque corners of the course.
There are always high quality food stalls and outlets around the course; everything from burgers to seafood bars. The numerous bars on site are fully stocked, from soft drinks and beer to champagne and fine wines.
